what a reg turner?

Yeah, I was going to do hand turning, but my husband instisted on just replacing the autoturner. Hopefully we can figure out what happened to the old one. The motor works, It's just slow and weak. Maybe it needs cleaned out and rebuilt.

oh my gosh yes this takes forever I've been to the basement a dozen times already! Man good exercise.... why did I put them in the basement????? Lol

I know. Mine is not even in the same building. Up to now it has been kind of boring (my grandson is right), but now it's getting exciting (eggciting?).

LOL! That's why I put mine in the kitchen!

Basement, cellar, dungeon, etc., they're basically rooms under your house...   ;)

My eggs came from cmom...  :thumbsup

That sounds like the perfect transition setup!  :clap

Thanks, bro!!!  :highfive:

I am of the opinion that you do have a problem...

but you're rapidly evolving into a role model. :yesss:
And eventually they end up back where they started from......the dining room :lau

I hope everyone is having a good morning and is ready for a great day! :frow

Four new chicks in the world here: three red and one black. :jumpy

:celebrate

When I got home from work this morning at 7:30 AM I had two chicks hatched out . Now about an hour and twenty minutes later there is a total of six out, and another one zipping. There's only 2 or 3 that haven't pipped out of the twenty six eggs. But its hard to tell now because the chicks are knocking the remaining eggs around.  It's almost like pop corn.  lol

:weee

We are up to 5 chickies now!

:ya

Whew!!! We have several e thermal pips in the classroom this morning! Thank goodness!!!! My first-graders are thrilled!!!!

:yiipchick

Yeaaah for all of the new chicks! :jumpy

My #4 emu is pretty well out of its egg but still has a small ball of un absorbed yolk. Uhggg. Not what I was hoping to see today but I am just going to keep it in the incubator for some days and see how it goes. It is a determined little thing. I gave it a stuffed animal to snuggle and it seemed to feel comforted.

Hatching the bigger birds especially, peafowl, turkeys, emus... I am struck by the awareness they seems to possess. Birds are so amazing.
Amazing! That is one determined little Emu!!

Probably depending on how old it is
