HI,
I just noticed one of my roos is missing a spur! There is a hole where it used to be, it appears dry, not oozing, bleeding or weeping. He's not limping or anything. Should I spray it with blu-kote tonight, just on account of because? or leave it alone? I guess I better check that it's not stuck in some poor hen, huh? I never heard of a spur breaking off before, but then I'm pretty new to chickens. Need I worry about it for any reason, as long as it doesn't end up infected?
Thanks!
