Spur, Oak, and Snow- A Turkey Roleplay

"Thank you!" said Willow. She began pecking vigorously at the grass. When this had been pecked, she uncovered some more and pecked it too. I'm getting the hang of this.

Pepe was confused for a moment, the joke had been interpreted differently than intended. Then he caught up. "Don't worry, I'll find you food and acorns. I won't even give you the rotten ones." (They both don't understand each other's humor but just roll with it, lol.)

(Lol this one made me laugh my way out of the room.)
(Spur)
Fox chuckled. “How kind of you.” He said humorously.
She attempted to puff out her feathers though it didn’t have the same effect that Coppers had, She tilted her head a little unsure if he could still see her. But she continued to glare
Copper blinked and narrowed his eyes slightly less.

If no one interrupted, this staring contest was bound to go on forever. Neither contestant was willing to give up anytime soon.

Pepe dug up an acorn and handed it to Fox. “Here’s the first,” he said, his eyes atwinkle.

Slate wasn’t about to interrupt. He was busy deciding which turkey he disliked less so he could cheer for it. Copper, Copper!

She felt a smirk slide onto her face as he widened his eyes slightly. This staring contest might last forever, what a laugh that would be, if she spent the rest of her life trying to prove her point. But her pride wouldn’t let her give in.

Fox grabbed it with his beak and swallowed it with satisfaction. Though it was frozen solid and made the top of his mouth numb, there was a certain joy in eating the stone-cold nut. “Winter does have its perks.” He decided aloud.

Copper concentrated as he attempted to raise every feather on his body to make himself into the largest spike-less porcupine to ever exist.

(I love frozen things; blackberries are my favorite :) )
“It sure does!” said Pepe. He scratched some more, helping himself to the nuts he found. He could only keep up the blind-turkey charade for so long.

Fox scraped his beak through the snow (do turkeys even do that?) to search for food. Not finding anything worth eating, he wandered over to a sapling, looking rather forlorn with the thin layer of snow covering its few branches. He picked at the buds he could find on the long-suffering tree.

Pecking intensifies.

“That all you got?” She sneered, still not breaking the glare
