I get a few on mine as well from time to time. I just take a propane torch and burn the hairs off. All you have to do is wave the flame over the hair. Don't hold it in one place or it will burn the meat. Just wave it back and forth and you will hear the hair crackle. It will be gone. Then just rinse and it is ready.
When I was young my grandfather did it with a rolled up newspaper. Same principle.
My mother used to boil the squirrel parts until they were tender and then roll on flour and fry. Always turned out delicious. Sometimes she would make a gravy after frying. Not ate squirrel in a few years. May have to give it a try before season goes out.
