stained PVC in coop

Iv seen plenty of people sand and stain PVC to look like wood. Woundering if it would be OK in a coop for the chicks(chemical). Making a waterer and feeder from PVC. TIA

Sorry, I too am not able to help with your question but hopefully the folks on the Forum Ken gave you a link to can. I tend to go with my gut and if I have any doubts as to the safety, choose a different path.

I like to err on the side of caution. So I would replace the PVC or ignore it. Chickens don't care.
