Today I worked on getting her used to a saddle pad. She did awesome!

Oh my goodness she is adorable! I love how the saddle pad is way too big

I don't see anywhere else, but are you planning on teaching her english? Anything specific, or just all around riding?

I plan on teaching her English riding and maybe doing some trick training with her.

I would like to eventually do eventing with her but her breed is supposed to be good at dressage.

Sounds like fun! I'd say jumping would be the first english 'sport' I'd do if I rode english (I do western) and possibly eventing as second lol.

Do you want to dressage with her? I know one horse at my stables that was bred to either do jumping or saddleseat, I can't remember which now, but he turned out to be bad at it and ended up being my trainer's western horse.

I would like to do very basic dessage with her. I am not really into showing yet as my riding pony is only 4 1/2 years old and still learning the basics but I love to jump and hope to get more into showing this summer

I hope you can go into showing, sounds fun! I've done basic walk and trot (one or two with a canter) dressage patterns before and they are fun!

I've done one walk and trot show with my pony (her name is Sugar). But I'm very excited to start showing with her more this year!
