Hey everyone! I know I haven't posted anything about little star in so long so I thought I would put a little update out.
She is doing good and growing fast! She is already taller than my riding pony (but I don't think she realizes that
because star still lets her boss her around) and she has learned how to rotate her forequarters and hindquarters. I also have saddled her for short periods of time and she does every well. Right now I am working on leading her in new places, but the problem is she will sometimes just bolt and rip the lead rope out of my hand, she doesn't go far, I think she just runs away so she can go eat some grass. But any ideas how to stop her from getting away? I don't want to reward her bad behavior by letting her eat grass when she bolts. Here's a pic I took of her out in the pasture:
