Starlight’s Training Adventure!

Star did really great today!! I took her on a little walk. And I haven’t done that in a while. She did great with the puppies and the water. But she didn’t like the noise of the cars coming from the road. At first she spooked and ran a couple yards away. So I caught her and started working her. I moved her feet forwards, backwards, and side to side. Then when we got to the place that she had spooked I let her relax and eat grass. We still didn’t get very close to the road, but that wasn’t my goal, my goal was to just take her on a nice relaxing walk, and she did great!!

Star is looking great!! And you and Sugar look awesome. :)

I kinda like the idea of taking one or two english lessons sometime this year and jumping for fun, but I may hold off for now because I might start riding some other western horses soon, or at least will ask about it, haha.

Have you ridden western?

Hey everyone! Does anyone have any good respect building exercises that I could try with star? She is doing very well but I am hopping start getting her more comfortable around different things and places. Starting with my front yard lol
