As a teenager, I absolutely loved my pheasants. I raised red golden, lady Amherst, and silver pheasants. While away in college, dad sold my flock. I guess he didn’t have the time to take care of extra birds on the farm.
Many years later, I now live in a subdivision in the country with some space to start a small pheasant aviary. I am looking for advice on how to build something that is aesthetically attractive, protected from predators, and not crazy expensive...I know that sounds about impossible.
I am looking for pure red golden stock close to KY.
If anybody has suggestions on construction or where to locate a few quality red goldens, I will forever be greatful.
Thanks...looking forward to getting back to pheasants.
