I still have a fantasy of making a "true blue" olive egger that produces an olive egg chick every time. I have a friend with a genetic testing business I'm waiting for her to get the tests for double blue genes so it will be pure.

see, i'm interested in breeding the Amelias back to Harold the CL to see what the chicks end up like, being then 3/4 CL and 1/4 penedesenca...

What kinds of things is she going to test for? What kind of fee will she charge? I think that's fascinating!

An Auto Sexing Olive Egg laying breed would be amazing! Amelia should be the name too.
 
Ron I am getting ready to put one of my crele boys in with the silver ameraucana. That will give auto sexing olive egger chicks that I am counting on.

That would be a good one too--The genetic testing would help with getting all Olive colored eggs sooner.
