No, I can't fill up the incubator!

I have way too many chickens now. Just trying to reestablish the Isbar flock after getting rid of the egg eaters and bringing in some breeds for eating eggs. I am thinking about getting out of the hatching egg end of it all together. I don't want to keep buying the latest, greatest in order to sell hatching eggs for more than just a few dollars a dozen. I think my house is situated in a pretty good spot for selling eating eggs and the surplus I can sell to the feed store. I have the CA egg handler's permit that they require. I want to give that a try in the Spring. I have an on-going project, and another in mind, so I may get back in the hatching egg business eventually, but for now I think I am going to stop selling hatching eggs. My chicken plans are always in flux so I may change my mind at any moment but this is what my heart and head are saying this morning.

You are like a meth pusher with your eggs!

I have to cover my eyes, put my fingers in my ears and sing la-la-la-la when you post!
