Everyone knows Mary strives for "vertical" photos

You have your work cut out for you Diva. I signed up for another food photography course starting May 2! This one is Food Photography Au Naturel. Should be fun. I was looking at the guest instructor George Crudo's work, and he shoots a lot of horizontal stuff! It will be interesting to see if he is as adamant as the first two instructor's had been about vertical. I know it is much easier to crop the picture for submission to the food porn sites if they were shot in vertical. So stay tuned! I'll be looking for feedback and sharing my critiques with you guys.

By the way, the poached egg pics were horizontal because Michael used my camera the night before to shoot the eclipse. He changed the tripod mount to horizontal and tightened it so much that I couldn't change it back to vertical the next morning. You lose a lot of hand strength when you get old.
