Stella's Social Club

I think horizontal works better on the computer screen.

How about this cutie?

I LOVE this little clip! I had a Delaware girl that always did that!

I am baaaaaaaaaack ! Did you notice? I spent a couple more days in the hospital. I think this time, they may have figured out the problem. YAY! Anyway, I am now breathing pretty easily and am hopeful I am on the mend! Heck, I am even feeling like I may be back to normal, and boy am I happy about that!

Sooo, Glad to see you back. Being sick is for the pits. Be careful coming off the cortizone meds. you may have a rebound. Gradually is better. I have 4 beautiful little del. chicks. I wish I could post pic's. Maybe later. I have been in the mtns this wk and will be on the coast tomorrow night. Take care Girl.

Kathy we are always happy when you are back - even when you don't go anywhere. Really

Do any of you like those easy recipes? I found this one and we love it. We are having it tonight, for the second time. (not my picture)

  • 3-4 Chicken Breasts
  • Green Beans -frozen, canned, or fresh (I used 2 small boxes of frozen)
  • Potatoes - cubed
  • 1 stick of butter
  • 1 packet of Italian dressing mix
  • salt and pepper (optional)

Place chicken breasts in middle of pan, potatoes on one side and green beans on one side. Cut butter in slices and lay on top of all the food. Sprinkle the Italian seasoning on top of every thing.

Cover with foil and bake at 350° for an hour. (We left ours in for 15 minutes longer). YUM!

Gotta love easy, right, Kathy?

Oh, I found some of Bob Blosl's advice to me about breeding back up to the Stukel lines with what I have:
https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/273471/plymouth-rock-thread/4480#post_11866916
This thread was the one, which contained this line, among others:
Quote: Bob had just told me that he was blown away by the photo of my original Stukel male, Rex, then a couple of posts later, he saw that Rex had been killed and sounded so heartbroken over it, like it was his loss. He was such a nice, giving man with his knowledge.

He had just commented on Rex here: https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/273471/plymouth-rock-thread/4470#post_11864700

Quote: I didn't know Bob that well, but I sure felt his loss after reading his articles on BRs and RIRs many years ago, then finally, getting to converse with him here and having him give me some advice on breeding.

Sorry to divert from topic, but Kelly asked what he told me and I was rereading his posts when I found them and just felt rather sad that we lost Bob so soon. We need more like him.

OMG that is adorable! Whose kid is that? Love it!

Y'all have been bad today and I hope you feel guilty. I was at the vet today with Tucker having a tumor removed from his eyelid. Feel bad for being naughty? You should!

Except, Kathy, who is exempt for medical reasons. Knock it off though Kathy! Glad you are better.
