Im a day late and some chicks short but here is celery trying to hatch a bresse hen...

She is mostly sitting on duck eggs. But who can resist sticking a whole chicken under there..

It seems rather quiet at home. Four goat kids and one first freshener left for new homes last week. Only three kids left here, 3 senior does, 2 junior does, and 1 buck, the other buck is leased out. We're milking 2 does twice a day, and 1 once a day and are getting just under 2 gallons a day.

What do you do with all the milk? Have you tried making cheese?

I keep hearing the turkeys are not the brightest of all birds, those hens look either confused or desparate

for the third egg. They are actually due today, so I'll give it plenty of time. Although this last egg didn't look as far along at lockdown. So it's either slow or was a late quitter.
