The big switcheroo has begun. I moved her to an empty coop and took the batteries out of the auto pop door so they will be locked in for a few days. I built a little step up into the brooder egg with junk for the babies to get over the lip. You can barely see the little yellow chick under Mama's breast in this pic. Oh, I hope this works!

I love it, and now, would you kindly share the secret where you purchased this one? I googled but could not find it.

If I remember correctly it's a cat/dog bed. Google "plastic egg shaped pet bed", you'll see lots of them. You can find them white and colored. Here's one example.

I bought this one and also gave one away on my blog. I wonder if the ones on eBay are smaller or poorly made? They price is less than half. The one I bought is really nicely made and roomy.
