I will definitely try it! Is the baby vitamins without iron enough, maybe a few drops twice a day, or do I need like liquid E capsules and selenium? I can't imagine any form but tablet not sure how a chicken would take that! Does selenium come liquid too?

ETA: I did give her baby vitamins when she was having so much trouble as a chick, one drop twice a day for probably a week. It didn't seem to make the shaking any better though she did finally stop peeping nonstop. So I figured she had a neurological problem.

They are liquigels. (not 100% sure on the selenium, but I think it comes in liquid) I would cook an egg in the microwave and while it was hot, stick the vitamin E in the egg and it melts. Then stir it up. Get the 400IU vitamin E. The selenium helps them absorb the vitamin E.

My wry neck girl made it into the coop last night all by herself. She hasn't been able to do that I don't know how long. I've been noticing she's been eating more, because when I pick her up the past few nights her crop was full. The only thing I did differently was add some Avia Charge to the waterer. (I put it in there for my other pullet that was limping) I don't know if that's why, but I'm not complaining.

Well since Drekki Jr.s gone to Heber with Boston's flock, I've given 11 eggs to put under a broody and another 11 today to go into an incubator in far north Phoenix. He's been gone for a week today. How much longer do y'all think the eggs will be fertile? I got four more eggs today... All of a sudden they start laying like crazy! Guess it's the cooler weather, well relatively speaking... we'll be over 90 for the next 5 day!, on a positive note, in the garden, the corn is as high as an elephants eye.

Dar is out of his coma! Welcome back Dar! The last time I collected eggs after my roo died they were fertile for 20 days.

WHERE IS KATHY? We need update on Fred at school!

Maybe Kathy and Fred are in the pokey.

I am in Iowa. Went to a poultry show in Lincoln, NE today. Just settling in for the night now. Enjoying the family.
Fred had a blast, but was happy to be home. The kids loved him - he was a hit. Fred gobbled down apples bits - like candy.
