I wanted to play the piano and got stuck with the Clarinet. I hated loathed the clarinet. The dog howled every time I practiced.

My younger son played clarinet in the HS marching band. He loved it. Was fun for us, too.

Please, enjoy my piano student Emika Saito performing the Schubert Impromptu Op 90 No2. She performed last Saturday in a local piano competition, winning first place in the 4-6 grade category. She is 12. When she comes to her lessons, she videotapes all of them and listens back during the week. Shed can her my boyw crow on tape. It's all music here.

I spent four hours this morning scrubbing and cleaning our outdoor grill. Yuck. But it looks better and I am planning to grill some hotdogs for dinner. My favs! I have a hair appointment at 2:00. I hate hair appointments!

Must be a hair day - I just cut my own right before I came to work. Got 3 sides pretty good, the last side needs a little work!

I do it myself because whenever I go to the hairdresser, I spend a lot of money and end up doing it over at home anyway!

Can't wait to see what you can do with a hot dog photo!

That was amazing.  How long has she been playing?

I've always wanted to learn to play the piano.  Someday, hopefully I will have a chance.

She has been playing for 3 years, she is 12, turned 12 March 9. She is Japanese and I have been working with her since 10 months. Her parents treasure classical music and her father is a violinist. When she started with me last July, she learned an intermediate 10 piece program in 6 weeks. This year she is performing a college level 10 piece program. She is so far the quickest learning student I have taught, she follows instructions, she practices and she listens to the lesson recordings. She may go very far.

I clean the grill on my Weber by getting the coals real hot and scraping it with a wire brush.

No one has gotten sick yet.....
