Stella's Social Club

That animal- is it a woodchuck or a groundhog? - it scares me! I am not so brave around any kind of rodents,
It is a gopher. I can't believe the Marans did nothing about it. Stella was freaking out in the next run trying to get to it! Idiots.

BTW, Lukka is broody and as of last night I have six broodies! I blame you for starting the trend.

Thanks all. I refused to believe I had a stroke for the longest time. I had numbness in my face and burning of the inside of my mouth. It was terrible for about 4 months last yr. One Dr. said it was neuralgia but the specialist all say stroke. Sigh, I am to young for this. When you are diabetic things just happen early. I am well controled and only require one tablet a day so I thought I would not get the complications of Diabetes, NADA, I still am having them. Neuropathy included. I keep busy though with my chickens and garden beds. I am still quite well in many ways.
Thanks for everyones concern but lets get back to our chickens, they are more fun.

The type of stroke you had happens to young people. One person was 38.

Enjoy the chickens!

Nope. DH said I need to get out there and look around in the tree. easy for him to say. They have been like that for a few days.

They do not sting when they are swarming. They are simply too busy to find a new home.
Or, if they are not swarming, maybe they are just happy about the olive tree nectar flow. Then they are also not stinging.

Thank you ron. I'll start by sharing something really fun. Our daughter and son went out a fishing..this is what our daughter caught...! She is the one in the sunglasses on the right.and the hat. With the big smile. :) It weighed 24 lbs. She had caught a 12 lb. one earlier. A lake trout. A big one.
