Kelly, I still remember the good ole days when you kept saying, "I want a broody!"

Are you talking about me here and how I want a broody?!?!?

Have to share. My daughter shared this on fb. My DH decided to make it! He put plastic on the end to show how it is blowing. All you need is a cooler, a fan, and a pvc pipe to make it. Put ice inside. You can put gallon milk jugs in, less of a mess to clean out. Freezing some now. This is in a doorway across the room from me, and I can feel the cool air. :) Would be great for tents, if you have a generator.

Good idea

Strange day. When we were choring this morning there was a little groundhog in with our bucks, we got it out with a couple of scoop shovels and for a reason I don't understand released it out in the pasture. I guess when it's a little older it can have an appointment with Dr. Winchester. After chores, I was out playing with the dogs, Moose (my male Icelandic Sheepdog), went to the chicken coop door and was looking in all excited. I went to check it out, there was a chick chirping. I don't know where it came from, I know there wasn't any serious broody in the coop, there wasn't a hen concerned about the chick around. I put it under an Icelandic hen that was sitting under the nesting boxes. She still has it. I'll see how they are tomorrow.
