Stella's Social Club

Oh, we may get some dry lightening.....and hundreds of small fires that can become huge ones....

Global Warming?

I like to call it..Global Warning. :/ Have been seeing the fires going on in California. Ugh! Glad you have had luck in not having any reach you or your birds!

Whew! Finally finished giving my blog a much needed overhaul. I use a farm theme called Colin and I was starting to see it all over the web and I hate that. Not wanting to spend big bucks on a custom job, we just tweaked it to not be as recognizable. Sadly, the chickens are not mine. I didn't have any pics with a high enough resolution so I chose a couple of stock images of the same chicken and just kind of flipped them around. It is probably more girly than Michael would like with the polka dots but I love it! Here's a quick peek. I think it covers all the bases of farm and food blogging too!

Thanks Everybody! I just told Michael that if I had paid a web design company to make it I would have been thrilled! But we did it ourselves for just the cost of some stock photos.

I got my first harvest from my little garden beds last night. 6 Cherry tomatoes that we had with fish for dinner last night, two unknown variety of green peppers, and 7 jalapeños!

I took two eggs that I collected last night and scrambled them with sliced jalapeño and sweet onion, and a slice of pepper jack cheese. Yum Yum

that would make a mean breakfast burrito filling
