Thanks for the well wishes
on a positive note my F1 crele olive egger hens are laying some nice olive eggs.
They have been in with my crele Penedesenca rooster. Most of my girls are molting except the younger birds.
I plan on test hatching once I get enough.

I thought when school started I would hear from Kelly more but she's been running around like crazy. Probably celebrating her freedom!

School's In !

Actually, I haven't had a spare moment. I've been running around like crazy trying to catch up! My washing machine gets delivered today.

Taking care of sick me, and a sick puppy. Second visit to the vet for the pup. Something they can get from the age of 3 weeks to 4 months, Puppy Strangles. Started him on Steroids today, wish us luck with this medication on the little guy, but, it's the only thing that will work.

I've never heard of puppy strangles. Hope both of you feel better soon.

We had a small party with family and a few friends last night. Well mostly just a Labor Day Weekend party, but also threw in birthday cake and ice cream for my son who turns 5 next week. It was exhausting getting everything ready for it- but it turned out SO nice!









Also got back the pictures my kids had taken with their cousins earlier this summer. They turned out so good!

10 kids and 10 swings... perfect! Oldest to youngest cousins. I think this is the only picture where my niece, the youngest, WASN'T crying or nearly crying.

I love these 2 pictures!

That looks really good...........if only it didn't have eggplant in it.
