Rinda - mine usually molt for about 3 months. Some are a bit faster, some a bit slower.

Mary - It's a good thing I could back the truck up to the hill and roll them into the truck. I would have never been able to lift most of what I moved today. You definitely chose wisely with the boxes!

Official count of boxes unpacked yesterday...............43!

I counted them before taking them to the cardboard re-cyling center.

It was either count boxes or help Kelly lift logs. I had to go with the boxes.

WOW, you got 43 things done!

I heard Kelly only got 4 things done, and had to take a break between loads 3 and 4.

Umm, I don't think Kola molted for more than 8 weeks. She was laying through part of that, too. She is a very good layer, for sure. Well, all of my Icelandics have been.

I sure enjoyed the nice weather today. It's to be 65 tomorrow and 70 on Wednesday, too!

What a cutie!

ETA: Mary I loved your "hoarders" blog post- I think EVERYONE has something they struggle with holding on to for too long- mine is storage/organization items- totes, bins, binders etc. I always have way more than I need and not enough time to do the organizing/purging to put them to good use! My husband's is flashlights/lighting- I swear he used to come home with a new one every time he went with Lowe's... I finally convinced him he had enough and then our kids came along and now flashlights are always lost or have dead batteries! Every time he goes to Lowe's I hold my breath!

Great video Kathy, you must save this for future humiliation properties- imagine showing this to Kayson's girlfriend 20 years down the road. Just kidding. The kid has lots going for him, great moves and rhythm. Plus I love that song but, worry anyway.
