My DH is almost done with the Coop you ordered. He won't be able to deliver until after Thanksgiving.

Just be very careful not to let the water boil out. My students make this and one year the girl put it on to boil and went and took a nap. The kitchen caught fire and woke her up! The water boiled out and the cans exploded and then the pan caught fire and then the wall and.......but it is so good! I like mine with vanilla wafers.

Glad your dinner went well Mary. I have to make cinnamon rolls and an apple crisp for my families early get together tonight. Oh joy, I get to see my "father".

My dental news is good. The contractor doing the remodel on the dentist's office is her father-in-law. They met me at the office on Friday and he hooked the electrical panel up long enough for her to fix the high bite problem, which was significant. Her baby was asleep in the car so her father-in-law waited in the car with the baby so they didn't have to wake him up. The sharp area that was cutting my tongue up was a filling that had an open gap on the side. She couldn't fix that legally without an assistant so she ground it smooth and I will get it fixed week after next. Turns out I did not have a good reaction to the sedation and I was a royal pain in the butt the entire five hours. I won't go into detail but I will say kicking was involved.

I still have some bite issues and minor pain but that will be taken care of soon. For now I can close my mouth and chew!

Given what I put them through I would say at this point we are about even! She was very apologetic about making me wait to get it fixed but they did go the extra mile to do it. I had to bolt out of Starsbucks during coffee with Kelly to get down to her office when the call came. I'll bet Kelly didn't know I could move that fast.

Thanks for the thoughts and prayers. I am finally glad that I had the work done and it is over with. Now just need to maintain it and steer clear of Miss Loca!

I set my eggs last night. I had to dig the Brinsea cabinet out of the mess in the garage. We set it up in the utility room which is not where I want it to be on a permanent basis. My little yellow incubator/brooder house seems to have been taken over by tools and junk.
