So sorry. Hopefully the tangling will make him want to leave well enough alone? Probably not though...I am going to reinforce the line today. I may try and attach little leg and neck traps. All I need is for him to get caught or trapped for a few moments.Cooper What a shame. Too bad you can't string electrified wire across the top - I think that would change his mind and he deserves it.
How frustrating is that. I had several fox coming daily to my coop most of the summer in broad daylight. I'm just not that good a shot to hit him from the house, though we tried several times. We now have a new fence that slowed them down, but I bet they'll be back when the corn comes up newt year. I hope my new LGD will be old enough to take care of things by then.I am going to reinforce the line today. I may try and attach little leg and neck traps. tomorrow I am going to try the barbed wire idea. if he gets through that then he deserves the meal.
I will be up there with them out of view most of the day in the rain .
just bought a kennel and stucco wire to give my chickens refuge for now. Until I can figure it out.How frustrating is that. I hope you don't have to kill him, but if you can avoid trapping him. setting up a barrier he knows is there would be more effective.
X2Sorry you are having such a difficult time Jason.
