So what is on our favorite Pescetarians' menu tomorrow?

We were supposed to be in our motorhome at the coast but...the RV park we like in Half Moon Bay is first come, first served, no reservations. They update availability a couple of times during the day online. There was nothing to accommodate our 40 ft motorhome all last week. Plus, if something did open up it would be gone before we made the 3-4 hour trip depending on traffic. We thought that traveling the Monday prior to Thanksgiving would be ok but not. I called every RV park up and down the coast and all were booked for the whole week. So we decided to chuck that plan and try again on a non-holiday week. Kelly was kind enough to offer to feed the animals in our absence so, "Thanks again Kelly!"

So I am going to my parents here in town and eating the side dishes, which are my favorite things anyway! My Dad offered to put some frozen, breaded cod filets in the oven for me but I graciously declined.

What is everyone else doing for Thanksgiving?

Brother and I are seeing "Theory of Everything," movie - Stephen Hawking story tomorrow and then turkey dinner at Boston Market restaurant. That's a big deal to me, I will enjoy it.

Heading to Big Bay for snowmobiling - just about the middle of nowhere, am temp today was around 4 degrees, they got 4 ft of snow which has not melted. Was heading out early am tomorrow, but now they are predicting 4" or so of snow so packing up and going after work tonight. Why? True love I guess - hope the house we are staying in has a stove and oven, or Thanksgiving dinner is going to be pretty slim! Although I did pick up some smoked Chub today at the fish market Mmmm my favorite!

Take some shrimp along and have a shrimp boil!

Heading to my sister's son's home. Our Nephew has a large home to fit all of us in. They actually only live across the highway from us..will probably take us 5 mins. to get there..serious! Glad we don't have to travel. Doing my side of the family this yr. Not going to any of the kids home this yr..

On a lighter note I made oatmeal cookies yesterday with pumpkin pie spices. Yum!

Oh, I am all over those! I just found a recipe for a pumpkin chiffon cake that I want to try too. I've only done lemon chiffon.

This morning a quail jumped out of the pen. When I went to pick it up, it flew out into the pasture and landed right in front of a very surprised cat. The End.

Isn't Michael supposed to be resting? He just had surgery for goodness sake!

He'll be six weeks out from surgery on Friday! He shouldn't be lifting really heavy things yet but light duty is good. I was going to pick the stuff up myself but he offered to help. Then when he saw how much the guy cut, he wanted to go dump it on his driveway. I prefer using civil remedies. Luckily I won.
