With the Christian High School as our neighbor I don't think I would put gun signs up but I guess I'll have to trash the fence with Posted, No Tresspassing signs. You shouldn't need to tell people that they can't cut your trees down!

It wasn't that they couldn't cite him. They saw the pictures and he admitted doing it. His contention is that he had the right to do it because my trees impede his view when turning. He claims that is the case with trees all the way to the store that is why he climbed into trees, cut limbs and cut trees down at each intersection. The cops told us to handle it civilly, get an arborist to estimate the cost of replacing the trees and deal with him directly on it. they said if that doesn't work to call them back and they would see what they could do. I don't think it is fair to expect me to deal with someone who they deem to be a hothead with a bad attitude. I guess I'll call a lawyer tomorrow to see what I can do.

Hmmm, sounding very familiar with what went on with my sister this yr. If you are going to get a lawyer, they may tell you to not post anything on the net. Be careful what you say, here, or to anyone until you know what's up. Because, he will also have a lawyer and, guess what his lawyer will try and do? Twist things around on what you had said. Good luck, those looked like really nice trees. :/ Talk about it once it's over though. We want to know.
