All those roses look beautiful, wish we could smell them as well.

Almost all the snow that fell last week melted over the last few days - rained pretty steadily here yesterday and last night. We are down to still-green grass! Snow and cold back again starting tomorrow though, supposed to go up to Big Bay in the northern UP to snowmobile over the holiday weekend. They got 4 feet of snow, and not as much rain, so we should be good to go.

Wow..so many hunters out this way would love to run across that guy! Deer hunt is in Nov. I have shot deer in the past. Had one come right into my sites once like this..huge set of antlers. Let him go. Thought, Buddy, you have been around these parts a long time, I'm here more for the meat..you go along, and don't get yourself shot.
