Hi all,
An interesting thing about the California drought. In "East of Eden" Steinbeck writes about the importance of water. I suppose even then water was an issue of concern. Mr. Hamilton bought property that had little water, yet he was a well driller for everyone else.
I have chicks hatching again. I traded away 8 for some help coop cleaning. These new chicks will take priority. A C. Rock has hatched and I'm hoping some of the Dels do too. A few pips have me hopeful.
Have a nice day folks.
oh fun new babies! The history of California is riddled with water wars!
It has been a major issue since the miner 49r days.
Yippee for the hatching eggs!
I have a small batch of Pita Pintas going into lockdown soon.
no more hatching for a bit here, finishing up the expansion and growing up this last batch of babies..then will be processing some of the NYHAl birds for freezer camp soonDoesn't the seller have to disclose easements and right of ways?
