[Happy Chooks]

Just had a repeat showing to interested buyers. They stayed about an hour and 45 minutes and brought family. They walked the property too. Unfortunately rude neighbor was blaring music all day and all evening. Still going. Hope that didn't cause us a sale.

Sure will miss this place and our animals but I must follow my head and not my heart. Off to finish my Stir Fry class on Craftsy. I left three fresh baguettes for the people that toured the house tonight. I am getting better at baguettes all the time! The more you make them, the better you get. These were really pretty too.

Hmm. maybe you should have turned your farm house into a bed & breakfast Inn and /or with 5 star rated restaurant. plus ice cream bar for those who don't like fish or veggies

thank you Kelly, I try not to get close enough to bees to check them out. I've had close up photos from years ago, of bees on my cactus flowers. I never noticed anything like that on mine. If I can find the photos, I will check for saddle bags. How cute!

The bees wouldn't cooperate so much last night, but this ladybug did.

I don't know what weed this is, but the bees love it and the chickens won't eat it.



Dusk is my favorite time to sit by the hive. The bees are settling in for the night, and fanning their honey. The soft hum of their wings and the aroma of honey is so nice.

Kelly that is the weed that our pasture mower told us was so hard to get rid of once it gets on your property. Took him four year of digging out new plants and bagging them up to prevent the seeds from falling onto fresh ground. He wouldn't even mow anywhere near the one plant he found on our property for fear of spreading the seeds. Of course it didn't get dug up

and we walked all over through the seeds. We now have it coming up in several places.

It looks like spearmint to me. Mint is very persistent in wet places.

It's not mint. It's mildly prickly on the leaves.
