I'm sorry, Mary. I was a realtor for 8 years to put my sons through college. Gave me many bad memories. If I was your representative, you can bet you'd have had a different experience. I hated to have to drag other lazy realtors along with me, make them do their blankety-blank jobs, so a transaction could close for both buyer and seller. I was in the office until 10 p.m. many nights, dotting the "i"s and crossing the "t"s. Ethics, including work ethic, were a joke to some of these folks. And trust me, it was sometimes the clients who tried to put something over on us all. You couldn't pay me enough to do that job again. I did it RIGHT.
Real estate, generally, is not a place for someone who is a perfectionist with integrity. And no one can tell me otherwise. There are some good ones, of course, but they can't do the job alone and it gets to a person after awhile, trying to make all parties involved do everything they're supposed to do on time (or at all, geez). The stress wasn't worth it to me. I hate that you're dealing with one of "those" types.
ETA: I read about Lukka and commented on your blog. You know I've been there numerous times and I hate that for you. She was a wonderful hen.
