I'm glad to hear that Stella is still with us. Isn't it amazing how some hens go on and on with no trouble. My "Barnie Green" is still going strong at 12! I've got to get a new picture of her. She still looks fantastic and is just as ornery.

I've been looking for new recipes to use up lemons that are taking up so much space in my fridge. Tonight, I made lemon yogurt pancakes with lemon syrup and holy smokes, it was amazing! I've been trying to call Mary all night to share it with her because I know she loves lemon stuff too! If you love lemon flavor, definitely try the syrup, even if you don't make the pancakes! I swear I could eat it by itself. It will be a regular around here now.

Sorry, we have had a crappy afternoon fighting with real estate agents and finance people. We decided to get out of town in the motor home for a few days. We made it down the driveway of the storage facility before multiple mechanical malfunctions made me refuse to go another foot in that thing.

Not meant to be. back to the grind tomorrow or we may decide to take our house off the market and stay put. I truly can't bear the thought of another conversation with a realtor.

It is a never-ending saga. If I wanted a good chunk of someone's equity I would make sure I earned every penny. But I'm old school. That is not how it's done now.
