Holy cow Rinda! You guys were lucky. How scary. Looks like he did a good bit of damage to the company vehicle in the process. I am glad you are all ok. Make them pay for everything!

Looks as if the first people to see our house bought it. We should be under contract in a few minutes. They made an offer, we came down a little from asking price, they came up a little, we came down a little more. I think that the only thing left to agree on is who pays for the septic inspection. The good news is they are well qualified, putting 25% down and want to close in 21 days. Now we have the hurdle of the dreaded home inspector and the appraisal. I'll be a wreck until those things are done.

that was fast... congrats.

lonnyandrinda - I'm glad no one was hurt. Still, what a horrible thing to go through.
X2!!! I'm so glad he didn't get away! I've had my troubles with hit and run drivers.

That's crazy about all the rain in CA. It has been SO dry in Iowa we'd welcome some of that here. I know you folks are praying it stops, but I'm praying you send some over the mountains :)

That is great Mary, it is truly a beautiful house... I had no dought it would sale fast. Congratulations!

There was some monkey business today but we finally got the signed contract. The buyer's agent pressured us last night to make the deal so it could be finalized before this morning. Then he didn't do that and screwed around until late this afternoon to send us a signed contract. We were told that if we didm't accept the deal last night it was off the table. Then an all day delay today. There is another buyer chomping at the bit, but now all we can get from her is a back-up offer. I hate the real estate game. Hate it.
