Stella's Social Club

Now, what fun is that?

Hmmm, I'm surprised you asked that. Haven't you been living the dream all summer?

Sides are almost done. Front, back and gate to go. Ignore the horizontal boards. We are still deciding whether or no to go with the slope of the land or stagger so they line up with wire. I like the latter. We had to take a break from the heat.

OH how I love a ranch home. Stairs are NOT my friend.

I am definitely loving the single story! Miss the high ceilings and spare rooms but this is where I need be at this time in my life. I will love it when, and if, it gets my personal stamp on it! I need the dang bid first!

We had a little glitch in the fence. Two of the posts gave way a bit and we will need to use support wire in the corner. On the side nearest the house the auger hit rock so those didn't get set as deep as the others. IT has been several days since the post hole cement went in but it still didn't hold. Michael is trying to make this fence look as good as it can and hold up too so he is off to Tractor Supply for wire and ratchet.

My DW just had a parathyroid tumor removed--and now she can go up stairs again!

She is only 53 though. In 20 years those stairs will be a problem again for sure.
