Iron will not come out easily either.

Bar Keepers Friend works--but now that the filter is working, It might be better to get a new one.

What dishwasher are you considering?

I was going to get the double Fisher Paykel dish drawers but my contractor convinced me to stick with one manufacturer and series for all the appliances so the finishes all match. So it will be the best one Frigidaire professional makes.

Wow, no Bosch huh? I love my Bosch dishwasher.

I guess I go against the grain, I have Bosch for my dishwasher and microwave/convection oven. GE glass cooktop and oven. And a Samsung fridge.

What is worse than having over 50 chickens? Getting 5 eggs.

All of my birds have started molting early. And the ones not molting are flipping broody.

I am sorry!

Mine are still going strong--especially the Trader Joe's chicks.

Do I have 50? I will not count them!

Kelly do you need for me to pick up some eggs for you on my way up tomorrow?

I am so excited to get my chickens. We finished the fencing and gate today. I am trying to get the painting done before we put the netting up. I have most of the barn red body of the coop done. The white trim is a little adder to paint because the boards are rough. I am using Behr Weather Proofing solid color stain. That should help in dealing with the elements. It is always something I never seem to get around to doing. Then we pay the price later. Despite a few glitches the fence ended up looking quite nice. It may not ward off a bear but it will keep a chicken in. Oh wait, I forgot about Stella.

I will be up bright and early to see if I can't finish the painting before picking up the girls.

We were wondering what our neighbor would think since they have been gone for a couple of days. The red is bold! They aren't accustomed to seeing fencing over here either. He came over tonight and complimented us on it and said he wanted to be a chicken at our place! Whew. I know he has no say in the matter I just don't want to come in with people hating us! That can happen later.

I went shopping for flooring today too! This may actually happen. Son-in-law came by tonight to pick up a couple of things we can't use anymore. His Dad was with him. Some of the finishes in the house cracked them up but they think it will be a great place for us. We ate fresh white peaches straight off of our tree! Delicious.

I'll post pics tomorrow. It was dark when I stopped painting.

Just have to cut the tops off the poles and attach the netting!

We added these corner supports and I like them!

Reliable help is so hard to find these days.

No, I'm getting by with eggs here. I just don't have as many to sell. My welsummers are still laying well, at least so far. I guess I won't be sending you home with peaches.

Your girls are all boxed up and ready to go home. The Isbar wasn't too happy with being crated, she was hitting the top of the crate with some serious force, but she settled down. Stella was quite easy to catch at night.

Hopefully, she doesn't break out of the crate.

I love your fencing, it looks beautiful. The boards across the top and the supports really make it look nice, not just a farm fence. (like mine) Have fun stretching netting!
