Better Boys are quite nice. I grow them every year, except I couldn't find them this year. Early girl is a favorite too, as it ripens before everyone else. Stupid gopher got mine this year.Or peach berry smoothies.
I ate my first tomato of the year for dinner, accompanied by bacon, mayo and toast. Heavenly. First time I've grown Better Boys and the flavor is excellent.
I refuse to eat those things they call tomatoes in the store.Home grown tomatoes are so much better than the store bought. They taste so good on BLTs.
You earned your laziness. The coop and run look fantastic. The poor girls are having to hide from mean ole' Judy.Hatch chilies are in the stores! I bought a bag of them today and I am roasting a couple for a green chili cheeseburger for dinner tonight. Michael won't touch them, but I am positively giddy. He is having a mushroom Swiss burger.
Today I have been lazy, lazy, lazy. The big push to get the fence and coop done has finally caught up with me. It is nice to take a break. Kelly and her youngest visited today. They wore out poor little Tucker! He has been napping since they left and I dozed off too. He'll perk c=back up at dinnertime. Me too!
I had a nice visit with Mary and Tucker, glad he's having a nice nap now. My youngest and Michael were chatting video games.

I forgot to put my roast in the crock pot this morning. Sheesh, going back to school (my oldest) screws things up. So, we are having eggs, pancakes and bacon for dinner. My oldest is requesting biscuits too, so we'll see about them. He had his braces tightened, so was requesting soft foods.
