It's been a nice vacation, but we start back up this evening. We've gone out to dinner a few times, didn't have to rush home from Christmas dinner, it actually was a bit weird in the evenings not having anything to do. The TIVO is almost empty.

Glad you had a relaxed Christmas dinner.
Thanks !

I heard they got about a foot of snow back home last night. Hopefully they get the roads are cleared off before we fly back on Friday. I think I'm going to miss all this beautiful Sun and fishing.

Nice catch. I don't think they would be able to get me onto the plane. Enjoy your last couple days of vacation!

Pretty fish! It's going to feel super cold when you get home, after all that Florida sunshine!

And who doesn't need 6 month vacations?

Yikes the wild weather is wreaking havoc on some communities. Hope everyone is ok. Just saw pics of the flooding in MO. Hoping Kathy is high and dry. Rinda too!

Got a couple of Wellie eggs but no one else laying yet. I need to modify the second roost so I can lift the board to walk to the back of the coop. My curved spine prevents me from getting under the roost to the back of the coop where the Wellie insists on laying her eggs in the far corners of the coop. :barnie

She'll move to the nesting box once the Isbar starts back up and puts her egg in the nesting box.

You could try putting an inverted bucket or box there to get her to move

Michael just cut the roost board shorter so I can lift it out. Hopefully she'll stop laying on the floor. I try your suggestion if she doesn't. I like the hens that follow the rules!
