We're just finishing up the great blizzard of 2016. We were right on the edge of it and got at most 3 inches of snow but lots of wind. NY City is 80 miles south of us and got over 2 feet of snow. Usually it is the other way around. The TV stations went crazy - all snow storm, all day long. This is the first measurable snow of the winter for us - what a difference from last winter when it started snowing in October and never stopped!

Yum. I've never tried cooking radishes. I always eat them raw.

My son has received his first college mail.

He's a sophmore, sheesh, I can't believe it's starting already! He was blown away on how they "found" him.

Usually that is followed by endless mail from the Army, Navy, etc. etc. I kept getting the mail for neighbors next door and would dutifully trot it over to their mailbox. I'm am sure he was thrilled but, he did end up joining the air force.

Finally got pictures from the baptism Saturday onto the computer! It was a lovely service.










And Grandma and Grandpa took us out for pizza afterwards to CiCi's pizza buffet- a family favorite. Who wouldn't want all you can eat pizza??

Other good news, we now have 6 of the 9 pups spoken for! Two more to go if we end up keeping Maddie (Zoe is sold). They were six weeks old this weekend!
