Stella's Social Club

PS stop offering for low prices, when they go that fast, somebody would have paid more, and you'd still have it gone FAST but, get more compensation for your labor & talent.

Mary I'm sure you have considered this, but please do not let buyers in your home. Even better, meet them somewhere else. There are plenty of devious and dangerous people out there that troll social sites just to find a vulnerability.

I have considered that but for now selling from my house is my only option. For small things I will meet elsewhere but it isn't always practical. I mostly sell to people of local closed FB groups. And I always schedule pick-ups when Michael is home.

Finally got to a milestone on one of those "perpetual projects." I started this quilt top about a year ago, put it away for about 8 months and got it out this week to see what I could do to finish it. Got the top finished! Now it's going to get packed away for another two or three months until summer break is here and I can spend a few days up at my mom's house using her quilting frames. It turned out cute! It's called a stained glass denim quilt. So much easier than traditional denim quilts because you never sew two pieces of the heavy denim together! Going to use a sheet for the backing and not do any batting, it's heavy enough as it is. I made it for picnics, fireworks, etc- outside on the grass stuff. It is queen size.

That is awesome! The pockets are so cool. You could put silverware in them for the picnic. I need to learn quilting but I am not sure I could do it with my arthritic hands.

Well . . . . I sold 8 roosters yesterday. So, my poultry population is now down to 25 hens and 5 roosters. I only let one rooster out with the girls and keep the others penned. I need to cut down to half of what I have, and then I will feel like I have a "reasonable" number of chickens. I waste so much time, effort, feed, and money! Plain silliness on my part. All we need (want) is a few chickens to give us some eggs and entertainment in the yard. I want to totally tear down my BIG coop, to deter any potential "crazy ideas!" I want to keep these 2 little coops (8x8 sized), and that's all.
