I spent the day at a Pick, Paint, and Profit seminar yesterday about 100 miles from home. It was being filmed for an infomercial so cameras and lights were everywhere. I avoided them as much as I possibly could. I got some good tips for getting my business going. Drove home late and then got stuck sitting still for two hours on the freeway only 20 miles from home. Big rig flipped over across three lanes spilling a load of energy drink. How ironic. I was hungry, thirsty, had to go to the bathroom, and was very low on energy. FInally got moving and then got stopped again after a few miles for "raise the overpass" work. Only one lane open with CHP escorts. I was so exhausted when I finally got home. Got into PJ's, climbed in bed with Tucker and spied on my iPad watching Michael laying laminate flooring at the shop. Love the remote security camera.

I'm glad the seminar was worthwhile. Sorry the drive home was awful.

Oh boy Mary! I hadn't heard about the truck. The overpass work is ridiculous, I hope it's finished soon.

I am driving back down to Vacaville in the morning to pick up a stack of collapsed chicken shipping crates. We are going to take them apart and put them up on the walls of the store. We can use them for having small items or even framed pictures.

Tonight we hung the antique full sized bed on the ceiling. It has awesome springs and wire mesh. Tomorrow we are adding a string of Edison style bulbs inside the springs.

Mary, I know there are no CHICK-FIL-A'S out your way yet BUT, we have a few and I just read something frightening - they have come out with a kale & brocolini (??) salad.

I know I will have nightmares thanks to that. It must be a California trend expanding ....

I suppose it will infiltrate Mickey D's, Burger King etc. OY VEY!!
