There is a Chick-fil-a opening soon in Auburn. Along with Panera, Dickey's BBQ and Panda Express.Mary, I know there are no CHICK-FIL-A'S out your way yet BUT, we have a few and I just read something frightening - they have come out with a kale & brocolini (??) salad.
I know I will have nightmares thanks to that. It must be a California trend expanding ....I suppose it will infiltrate Mickey D's, Burger King etc. OY VEY!!
Me either - for southeastern NY state, the area I live in is a complete dead zone for fast food. We have a KFC - that's it. The Burger King closed years ago.Nor here, actually I've never been in one
There's closer ones than Cincinnati, theres on where my sister and brother live. I think I went to one once.Mike they have a Chick fil a in Cincinnati - I suppose that's a billion miles away........
If you guys check out their website they give locations, coming soon, newly opened, established ones etc. They have been opening new stores like crazy.
If any of you are ever close enough to a new store they have what is called 100 Day. The day before opening, crazy people(chicken folks already qualify for that) camp out in tents, rv's etc. in the parking lot from 6am to the next day at 6am. First 100 qualified folks get a booklet for 52 free meals. You can use either one a week, or have a bunch of friends join you and use up many.
They opened a new store near us - but I didn't have a trailer, a camper, a tent or even a sleeping bag plus which it was raw, windy, rainy & cold. So I didn't get to attend
But it's a good deal for folks in temperate climates
