Well I've got lots of sheets covering geraniums and lights under the sheets with the tomatoes.

Backyard has lots of lights on! I have lights under the sheets with the tomatoes, a light in my Laree brooder and lights in both of my grow out pens. It doesn't get dark in our bedroom at night!!!

I'm worried that I will lose my grapefruit tree and that our neighbor will lose his lemon tree.. (we depend upon their tree for our lemons)

Coldest cold snap in Phoenix since 1988

We'll be doing this every night for the next four nights.

Good grief I live in Phoenix and lived through two weeks in August with 115 temps EVERY DAY! now it's going to be below 30 for the next four days.

Guess I should count my blessings. So many have the flu, I haven't been vaccinated and I'm praying I stay healthy.

We are having the same cold snap here Dar. I think I posted about my sweet emu boy Louis having a sheet of ice covering his back this morning. It was hard like a tortoise shell.

He is truly a beauty. I also think he might make a run for Isi's position since the only girls that didn't hatch with him are Lukka and Stella.

26 outside this morning, and that is up against the house. So I'm sure it's more like 21 out there. Glad I drained all the pipes to the garden, orchard and chickens yesterday. Brrrrrrrr.
