Hi Linda!Mary, d'ya think Stella would accept my application to her Social Club? (I'm all the way up to post #239 but if I ask after I get to post #3102, it may be weeks from now.... Well, a couple days..)
I hatched some Icelandics last year, from eggs I received from thebirdguy, if that's required for admission.
That's some dedicated post hole digging. Ugg!I was trying to work on the coop and run some between moving. Hope to get the rest of the holes dug. posts up and gate up tomorrow![]()

I think it hit 20 this morning there. Had about a 1/2 " to a inch of fluffy snow last night. Very cold. water had drained into my post holes and froze. Had a hard time getting it out.
Wow that's a big pullet egg! Either that or you have the hands of a 6 year old.
So sorry Mahonri, no way the peppers have survived that.23.7 degrees in my back yard. I can't believe this garbage. One more day.
Mary, Diana used to look so svelte. I don't want to be rude but, is there any chance she is pg?
Yes, it's a big egg. Either a double yolker, or she skipped pullet sized eggs.Wow that's a big pullet egg! Either that or you have the hands of a 6 year old.
The black one looks like Marans. The other one could be a blue Marans.these look to be the packing peanuts that were included....any ideas what they might be?
The black and yellow one at the top looks like an Black Australorp. Horstman does not sell those, but he does sell Blue Orps and Blue Andalusians. My guess if they are bigger than the Bantams is one of those. Should be fun either way.
