Dar, your business is none of my business, but I have been hoping you would be able to move ever since The Bad Thing happened to you there with your flock and the city.

I hope you and your family find the perfect place!

Ditto! Enjoy your peaceful weekend also.

I went to see the Vietnam memorial when we were in DC. I found it very haunting. I hope the names gave you some peace Mary.

Blessed be those who gave their lives for hope for a better tomorrow.

That is very very kind of you! Thank you so much for the offer. If you had any idea how much I adore fabric - - - well, I just adore it!

I have way too much fabric here, and am trying to downsize all areas in my life. Thousands of yards of fabric here must go - soon.

Kathy, glad everything is better. I am so sorry your family is going through this. I hope you take advantage of the extra help. You are sort of busy even on a normal day already. Please take care of yourselves.

Edited to ask: What is that gorgeous vine in the picture?

Edited again to say: I just noticed your smart-alecky remark about one of my pullets.

to you and Ron!

No red hat club for my pullets. Bad influence.

Happy Memorial Weekend everyone. I went down to visit the traveling Vietnam War Memorial Wall this morning.
I would like to go there one day. Thanks for sharing the pictures!

Yikes, I just came home from a short trip to the grocery store and found a fox in my front yard! He ran across the road to the neighbors.

My babies were out all day for the first time so I wonder if that attracted the fox.

Here are the project babies. Lots of boys.

These are the olive eggers. I think there is only one boy!

They got themselves all back in the coop and the project birds even got up on the roost. The younger olive eggers piled in the floor.

Dar, I saw Star Trek twice and loved it. Good thing I saw it the second time - because I was kinda vague about the ending . The second time, I caught what I had missed - hmm very satisfying.

Even my brother who never watched the series - rated the movie 3 1/2 stars. I'd love your remarks on my thread "Current Movies - Thumbs up or Down"

... so looks like I may be done with chickens...

At the most, the new place could only handle 2 or 3 hens. I'd have less yard work.

DW still has to see it and sign off on it, but I've already put down earnest money.

I've complicated my life for the next 6 months but, that's life.

Mary, you are the moving pro, any suggestions?

Can we grow it here in Auburn Jason?
does great ! Doest need alot of water and likes the sun. will grow in shade but not bloom as much. you can grow as a vine or groundcover. There are other neat ones like tangerine and dropmore scarlet too

I can buy some from my nursery . I owe Deb some Primrose jasmine and yellow banksia rose. I just have to buy a minimum amount of stuff even know I work there.
I will need some things fore myself soon too.
