Mary, you changed your avatar again. It's not the same as it was yesterday....
(I am waking up.... Made an early morning feed run when I discovered I didn't have another bag left and 80-some pairs of eyes scolded me over beaks and bills.)
Early morning visits to a general store are very interesting. Had a chance to sit on bags of dog food, sip on a cup of store coffee, talk to the owner and a few customers for a while. Picked up a fella's business card who does Big Equipment work;; I'd inquired about who might dig ponds here-bouts and the guy the owner recommended happened to drop by while I was sipping on that cup of hot, dark caffeinated beverage. (My Keurig coffee-brewer has spoiled me.)
Also learned from where Kevin The Free Peacock may have come and that he most likely would never be missed. Somebody up on Buzzard Gulch Road has had a slew of 'em "for years" and his neighbors hate him.
He doesn't pen his peafowl nor does he do more than feed them, according to 3 separate customers at the store. I will drive up there (only a couple miles from my place) later today to see if I need to let somebody know I may have one of his birds.
Wish I wasn't such a .....considerate...member of this community. <*pout*>
