Red jewel yam - that's what it was! Mine was small and like "new potatoes," when you can almost just wipe off the skin to remove it. It was not thick skinned.

Kelly, I love kohlrabi, turnips, and the likes.

I love yams. Yummy!

I had a nice, but quick visit with Mary and Tucker this afternoon. I even got some hot pepper jelly candy - which was quite good. We played with Tucker and he got lots of petting. Such a sweet boy.

I also sexed Mary's Icelandics while I was there. Yup, 4 girls and 5 boys. They are gorgeous colors and she's got 3 with blue in them.

I can see it all now "Deb's Designer furs." raccoon coats with opossum hoods. Yes, fox do stink - a few times I thought - ick skunk- only to see the fox hoisting his leg on my bushes.
