Kathy, Is the Stukel strain smaller than the GS strain or are they just more compact looking? The GS strain seem to be more "streamline" but taller and longer. His tail is very nice!

The downside of living in a heavily forested area - when the wind is blowing so hard that it sounds like a jet engine in your yard, it's hard to sleep without wondering if a tree is going to fall on you. Especially with all this rain.

it is windy for sure. it never really stopped raining yesterday but at about 4pm I emptied a buck. can not wait to see how much rain we got. though not sure how much is getting in there do to the sideways nature of the rain now.

Sounds pretty miserable out there. On an unrelated weather note, its raining here, and the wind is coming from SE, very odd.

We have a rain gauge - over 10 inches so far in this storm. The ground isn't holding any more water.

I have banana bread in the oven - good day to bake, since I can't do much else. I canned caramel apple jam and apple cranberry jam yesterday.
