Stella's Social Club

OMG Kathy I just logged on and saw this and I am in tears. I wondered if they had assisted the hatch because as you know they hatch very slowly and with very little bleeding. How could the breeder do this to you? My heart goes out to you and those sweet babies. Post on the emu thread. Maybe someone can help with the wry neck in emus. I am beyond shocked and saddened. I'll PM my phone number if you need to call. I will be saying prayers for those babies and for you. What a kind thing you did by taking them.

I had one of those moments myself today. You all know I am an avid dog hater. Today I learned about Tucker, a severely abused 2 year old Terrier mix who could no longer stay with his foster family. I just picked him up two hours ago. She told me he wouldn't let me near him for probably two weeks. He had me from hello. I can hardly breathe from playing fetch. We have wrestled on the floor. If I sit down he has to be in my lap. She told me not to try to pet him from above his head because he was picked up that way and choked. If I sit down on the couch he jumps up and pushes my elbow out so he can get his head under my arm. He is two and has never had a real home.

Awwwww, Tucker loves his new mama!

This is a fabulous story! Love it!

This little bitty one seems to be the healthiest of them all. A pocket pet already. They are very quiet. Much too quiet. I will let them rest now, but tomorrow I am gonna be all over them getting up and around and eating.
I am still in Disbelief that someone would do this... Have they hatched Emu's before? What the Hell is wrong with them. It is just so sad that these sweet little babies have to suffer because this breeder is such a Idiot.. Kathy, they are so cute. These babies are in the right hands now. I know you will give them your all. I'm sending Positive thoughts your way. Bless those babies.

Very excited for you...

Who could abuse this little guy? He is too precious for words. I can't believe I just said that about a dog. I think he is planning on sleeping with me. He just took his blanket out of his crate and put it up on the daybed. I have been sleeping downstairs since Michael has been out of town. Guess I'll move upstairs to the queen sized bed.

I am tired. I'll check in tomorrow. Good luck Kathy. Try to get some rest. What a day you've had.

Mary

Wow Mary, you are BRAVE!!! Our dog is indoors in the summer because she couldn't survive outside in the heat, I've always loved dogs, just not in the house. I know I'm weird.

He is BEAUTIFUL!
