15 7 week Iowa Blues in my coop brooder,
15 3 week Iowa Blue/Silver Penciled Rock crosses and 10 week old Iowa Blues in the basement
I'll be setting 50+ this weekend and another batch about the same size for Easter.
Anyone need Iowa Blues?

Current pens/coops are all full
About 50 juvies in grow out pens
About 40 babies in the brooders
8 chicks in a tub in the house (and 2 stinky ducklings)
39 eggs locked down last night
35 eggs cooking about 14 days
About 15 dozen eggs on the kitchen counter fighting over who fills the incubator for one last run before the Easter hatch.

Somebody make me back away from the incubator (TG I don't have the cabinet style at my disposal)..................or at least get me to put up the CL ad when they start popping out.

How do WE solve the problem?....................watch CL for dog kennel ads....................and pray the house next door is bought by someone that understands animals in the country (including LOTS of roos).

I blame all of your spouses for all the hatching. My DW had the good sense to hide the incubator before she went on vacation. Now she takes the eggs to the food bank as fast as they are laid. I had to wait for eggs to be laid this morning to have breakfast.

I have 2 dozen dark hatching eggs coming today.

I have five dark egg layer (male) juveniles and one Isbar in a grow-out coop.

I have eleven cream legbars in the big brooder in the little yellow house.

I have 15 stinky little Icelandic and cream legbar chicks (mostly male) in the basement.

I have two dozen eggs in the incubator on Day 14.

The inside of our addition is moving along.
The ceiling and three of the walls our up with the first coat of paint completed.

The flooring was nearly completed, but we ran out so a few more boards are being milled.

The lumber for the trim, baseboard, and fourth wall has been delivered.

Thing one and Thing 2 don't understand why we didn't make this hole bigger! (to keep them out)
It looks great! I bet you are gonna get lots of enjoyment out of that room!

Yes, you are all certifiable!
Well, I am glad I am NOT!
I just don't know why I hang around all you nuts! You are all bad influences.

Yup, no chickies here until April!! Setting on the first day of spring, March 20, and not before. Yes, I have a few eggs being shipped for that setting and for some later in the spring....but we all (Deb, Mary, Dar) know how bad I am at hatching shipped eggs......
