Yay for Pancake!
Yes, they are all Girls until the turn into Boys.....

Please pray for a friend of mine, her husband died of colon cancer 5 years ago leaving her to raise their seven young children on her own (I believe she gave birth to the 7th right about the time he passed away which was also just before Christmas). Life has been one struggle after another even with the support of friends, family, and our church.

Yesterday she learned that she, too, has colon cancer. How much heartache can one family take?

Oh No!

Do you know what stage? Hopefully she was screening for it.

I don't know any details right now, but I'm pretty sure she was screened for it so hopefully they caught it early. I'm sure she is still just reeling today. Her husband's battle was very short. It was quite advanced before they knew he had it.

Yes, it is one of those that can get very advanced before it is found.

The Family is on my Prayer list now

Prayers sent. God bless her and her children. I hope this will be quickly treated successfully.

Kelly I am glad your little chick is better. It sure seems like some hens get the system down from the get-go while others just make a mess of it.My project girl can sit with the best of them but when it comes to hatching and protecting the eggs, she lets the others wreak havoc on them.

Lukka should open a broody boot camp!
