It's about to get weirder up in here. Not that I can top the chicken feet but...

My pepper jelly was so thick I couldn't even get it out of the jar. So I heated a butter knife, dragged it out, heated it to boiling, strained out the solids, cooked it a bit more, cooled it in the pan, pulled it out, cut it into squares, rolled it in sugar and I'm calling it Sweet Hot Pepper Gumdrops!

That would certainly make perfect suspension of bits of pepper easier

How are the gumdrops Mary?

Deb - I still cannot get over the feet to make stock out of them. Nice and pretty carcasses though!

The collagen causes such a richness to the broth/stock. I plan to can some and enter it in fair as Chicken Foot Stock, just to see the faces on the judges, LOL
